RS-1616 is designed as a PC software to control routing switchers, or addition to master command. Can be used as a monitoring connections on routing switcher or as a main connection control, when it receives permission from the master command to take over its functions. The program is written for Windows OS. Use software on newer generations of computers. The computer must have an RS-232 serial port that is directly connected to the master remote control, through which continue to control routing switcher. Usage is very simple: put the arrow on the cross section (XY) which selects the input and output and press the left mouse button. The parameters for this connection will be shown: VIDEO-AUDIO1-AUDIO2. The software can save current status of the connections as a file on your computer and load them if necessary. Common functions for all software for controlling routing switchers are: registering the names of inputs and outputs, locking destinations, "undo" per each destination and locking software.
